1. Who is responsible for your data

Expat Turkey is a boutique real-estate and relocation advisory operated by Dominique Le Doaré, based at Abbasağa, Bekçi Sk. No:7, 34353 Beşiktaş / İstanbul, Türkiye. For the purposes of the KVKK, Expat Turkey is the data controller for the information you submit through this website. You can reach us at any time at dominique@expat-turkey.com.

2. What we collect

We only collect the information you choose to give us through the consultation form or by contacting us directly. This is limited to:

• Your first and last name;
• Your email address;
• Your telephone / WhatsApp number, if you provide one;
• The nature of your interest and preferred location;
• Anything you write in the message field — for example your timeline, budget range or family situation.

We do not ask for, and you should not send us, sensitive information such as identity-document numbers, financial-account details or health data through this form.

3. Why we use it & the legal basis

Your information is used for one purpose: to respond to your enquiry and to provide the advisory service you have asked about. Specifically, to contact you, understand what you are looking for, and arrange a consultation. The legal basis is your explicit consent, which you give by ticking the consent box when you submit the form, together with our legitimate interest in replying to a request you have initiated.

4. How it is handled and shared

Submitting the form opens your own email application with a message addressed to Dominique — your details are sent directly to us by email and are not sold, rented or shared with third parties for marketing. We may use trusted infrastructure providers (for example email and website hosting) purely to operate the service; they process data on our behalf and not for their own purposes.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your enquiry only for as long as needed to assist you and to maintain a record of our correspondence, after which it is deleted. You can ask us to erase your information sooner at any time.

6. Your rights

Under the KVKK and, where applicable, the GDPR, you have the right to:

• Know whether we hold personal data about you and request a copy of it;
• Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
• Ask us to delete your information;
• Withdraw your consent at any time;
• Object to how your information is used.

We may update this notice from time to time. The current version, with its revision date, will always be available on this page.
